Mardi Gras- Festival Of Feasting And Carnival
The City of New Orleans celebrates Mardi gras- the festival of carnival, parades, tons of delicious and fattening food. Mardi Gras refers to Fat Tuesday, the final day of revelry before Ash Wednesday, when Lent begins.  A raucous celebration, with beads flying through air and colorful floats parading through the streets of New Orleans! It’s the prestigious festival of New Orleans, for about two weeks in some time in February every year. Its time for dressing up, where people wear beautiful masks, dance and make merry on the streets, with glamorous women and sexy outfits with Mardi Gras beads.
