Come and enjoy the sights of Argentina and experience the beautiful pleasures of this lovely land. With the best kind of flora and fauna, this is the place you have to be in if you want to feel surrounded by the blessings of Mother Nature.

So get to see the Capuchin and the Spectacled Bear and the Howler Monkeys which give you great wildlife experiences and make you want to come here again. Camp in the mountains which rise up to a height of around 3,500 metres high.

Visit the Sierra De Perija which is a majestic mountain range, here in the eastern Andean portion, or the Cordillera Oriental. This lying in the northern part of Southern America, covers a zone between Venezuela and Colombia and ends in the north in the Gujjara Desert, covering a total distance of around 310km. This landform separates the Cesar River Valley and the Maracaibo Basin.

This mountain landform starts at the southern most tip near Ocana and forms the boundary between Cesar and the Colombian department of Norte de Santander. This actually forms the boundary in the international regions between Colombia and Venezuela. The Sierra Motilones, the Sierra Oca and the Sierra Valledupar form parts of this mountainous region. The Cerro De las Tetas forms the highest point at a height of around 3630metres. The Cerro Irapa at a height of around 3540m and the Serrania de Macuira at a height of around 864m are the other mountain ranges. Then you have the Cerro Aceite at a height of around 853m which is also a part of this region.

This range lies around 59% in the region of Venezuela and the remaining portion in the Colombian region. There is a substantial part of this region has been set aside as a national park by Venezuela. This is the Perija national park. This park extends also in the region of Colombia. There are portions reserved for the Bari and the yucpa people in the Venezuelan region. The Sokorpa and the Iroko people live in the Colombian region. There is a colonialization border plan that is building new communities here in the Perija border. The Cojoro town was the first that was finished and then the other communities for the Goajira and the Wayuu followed.

This region was full of tropical forests with papaver flowers and coffee being cultivated here. This is a greatly visited spot here in this region and people get enthralled by the beauty of this place.

Maracaibo is the second biggest city in this country and is situated very close to Sierra De Perija. This park is filled with beauty and is home to the most intriguing communities who habitually live in this part of the world. So get to see the lifestyle and culture of the Yukpa de Ayapaina, the Toromo, the Shirimi and the Meseta Kuana tribes.

There is great variety of wildlife and vegetation here in the national park and as you pass through the forest, jungles and rivers you would surely love to be in this region of the highlands. Feel the humid climate here as also the cool surroundings of the mountains. The Pico Tectari is the highest peak of the park at a height of around 3650m. So all the organic plantations, and the animal life here is very intriguing. The snakes, birds, monkeys and the monkeys occupy the entire place and render the tourist totally weak with pleasure.

The walks here are smooth and short, and you would love to see the small mules which carry a lot of equipment, and food too. Toromo is a very interesting community in this part of Maracaibo.

Costa Rica tourism is today one of the fastest economy boom . With this kind of popular destination tag, this place has developed a great deal with the best kind of flora and fauna. The Nicoya Peninsula is one such spot which is gaining recognition as one of the better places to go. Amidst the travel to Costa Rica Beaches do go to this part of Costa Rica and enjoy the beautiful beaches and tourist attractions. This is a commercial centre of this region of Costa Rica and is also the place where settlements have been existing since long.

Nicoya is a place which has great greenery and the wildlife here is enviable. There are wildlife habitats at Cabo Blanco, Curu, Camaronal, La Ceiba, Cueva Muciealago, Diria national park and Romelia. The Nicoya Peninsula is a place where the mortality rate is very high and people live beyond 100 years of age here.

The place is not greatly populated and the cattle here along with the beautiful landscape make the place a great tourist spot. The forests and the countryside render the place beautiful and the tourists who want to come for eco tourism would love this place.

Nicoya Peninsula has beaches which surpass the beauty of all the beaches in the world. The coastline here is mesmerizing and the calm serene beaches would ensure that the coastline never loses its beauty. The small villages and the beautiful scenery here ensure that Nicoya Peninsula is one of the best Costa Rica beaches you shouldn’t miss.

Once you are in a beach wouldn’t you want to enjoy water sports such as fishing, surfing, snorkeling, and most of all diving? All these are more are available here and there are many surfers who really love to come back to this place to pursue their passion.

Again this place has some of the best natural surroundings that any place can boast of. It has turtle beaches, birding spots, subterranean caves and great wealth from the sea. All of this is protected under the umbrella of the nature reserves.

With the dry season till May and the trees finding it difficult to bear the heat, dry foliage is a common sight in this place during summer. One of the very dramatic beaches where you have a combination of seasons, Nicoya Peninsula sees a dust covered summer and a lovely virgin rainforest during the winter months. With high temperatures in summer and cold temperatures in winter, this is one of the Costa Rica beaches with a tale of the opposites.

Nicoya peninsula is divided into two – Guanacaste and Puntarenas. Guanacaste is a province which is a division of the peninsula and is a major occupant of the peninsula in the northern portion. The Puntarenas lies in the southern portion.

Not much communication means are available between the two provinces. There is a coastal road that is being proposed but not much has happened. The peninsula is still filled with unpaved roads with many potholes.

Don’t worry about the bad condition of the roads. You have come to land of greenery. Enjoy one of the most intriguing Costa Rica beaches.

Come to the land of surprises and amazing travel thrills. Get into the travel mode and get set and zoom into the land of Ciudad Guyana. With the highest rate of economic growth and industrial expansion, the Ciudad Guyana is one of the easiest places to get the right kind of adventure in this part of the world.

Visit the Puerto Ordaz which is one of the most planned cities in this part of the world. This was found in the year 1952 and was the headquarters of the Orinoco Mining Company. The Ciudad Guyana is a result of the combination of the region of San Felix and the industrial sector of the city. This is the place where you would get some of the best waterfalls. Puerto Ordaz was founded as an iron ore port.

Visit the cities of La Llovizna Parks and the Cachamay which is a hub of absolutely superb waterfalls and bask in the ambience of the best flora on these green zones.

San Felix is another colonial town which is a great attraction. There are no historic buildings here and there are the poorer sections of the city living here.

Then you have Bolivar which is a very popular city here. This state is enriched with diamonds gold, bauxite and various kinds of clay for production of bricks. This has become today the most important industrial centre of Guyana and is quite large. The iron industry is very popular here and it is today one of the fastest developing cities. Bolivar is a very important port in Guyana today and most of the goods produced in Bolivar are carted through the Atlantic Ocean past the Orinoco River.

The River Caroni is an important river of the Orinoco basin in the South American continent. Originating in the south eastern part of Venezuela, this lies in the Guiana Highlands. This river is of the blackwater kind and has the dark colour of the water formed due to leaching from the plant sediments that have decomposed. This river meets the River Orinoco and joins it and flows with it for around 13 km. The city of Ciudad Guyana exists in this confluence and the sight is mesmerizing.

One very attractive sight of this city is the presence of this dam which is famous for the production of energy. Today there are five kinds of dams. They are following the river flow. The official name of this Guri Dam is the Raul Leoni Hydroelectric Complex. There is a new dam called Tocoma which is between the Cauachi and the Guri.

Then there is the Cachamay Park which is a great expanse of verdant beauties situated amidst the natural surroundings of the interior portions of the River Caroni waterfalls. This singularly attractive natural structure is a great recreation for the people living in the Ciudad Guyana.

With an area of around 52 hectares this is a place with lovely roads and beautiful vegetation. People living here enjoy the sights and scenes in this lovely paradise.

Then you have the Loefling Park which is in the western part of the city and was named after the great botanist in Sweden Pedro Loefling. He was in fact the first naturalist who studied the beautiful fauna and flora of this region.

With the diversity here and the absolutely mesmerizing surroundings, the Venezuelan flora is a great attraction here in this part of the world. Enjoy the sights of the mahoganies, apamates, oaks, ceibas, vagrumus and caros here.

In the land of extreme travel attractions and great tour pleasures, Maracay is a great place to be in and an ideal travel destination. This Aragua State Capital is a greatly industrial and commercial place and offers excellent infrastructure and beautiful transport systems.

With a pleasant temperature and intermittent rainfall, Maracay is a place that was founded in the 18th century in the northern part of Venezuela. The remains of Juan Vicente Gomez who was a great Venezuelan leader are still here in Maracay in the Mausoleo de Gomez.

With a great production of tobacco, textiles and paper, Maracay is a region which has agriculture as its main occupation along with the production of coffee and sugarcane which are its main products.

Maracay is an important Venezuelan city and a very popular tourist attraction. Here is where you find the Aviation Museum which houses a lot of aviation tools. This is also the place where there are lot of tools of aviation, military and where you would find the biggest air base of the Venezuelan Air Force. The F-16 fighter planes of Venezuela are also found here. The museum also has exhibits of the best weapons being showcased here. Many weapons from the earlier wars are also stored here. This is a must visit spot in Maracay. In fact it is said that a visit to Maracay would be incomplete without this visit to this museum.

South American countries normally preserve their heritage to a great extent and this is seen in Maracay too. Important artifacts, fighter planes and the military tools and rich cultural exhibits are found in the museum attract the tourists here to the museum.

Then you also have the Opera House, the Museum of Modern Arts, and the Anthropological Museum which are great travel attractions here in Maracay.

The city of Maracay lies around 100 kilometers from Caracas and is known as the garden city or the Ciudad Jardin. The Caribbean Sea borders it on the northern side and the Guarico State borders it on the south. The Distrito Federal surrounds the eastern side and the Carabobo state lies on the west.

This Venezuelan Garden City, Maracay is situated at the base of the mountains and is a great haven of trees and gardens. The streets and venues of this place are entirely filled with verdant stretches rendering the entire place very fascinating and beautiful. There is an inscription at the entrance to the city which has a bronze jaguar with the inscription “Maracay is a crossroads of all roads and the rose of the winds open to all wills.”

This is the city which has great monuments like the Bolivar Plaza and the la Maestranza Cesar Giron. The Bolivar Plaza is the largest in the entire country and the Government Palace of Aragua State is also another attraction. The tallest building in the interior part of this country is the Sindoni Tower which is also an added travel pleasure.

Visit the Cathedral of Maracay that was constructed on this land that belonged to Mijarez Marquis and is situated in front of the Girardont Plaza. This was constructed in the 17th and the 18th centuries and has undergone many modifications but still retains the colonial style. This church has witnessed a lot of history pertaining to this city and has seen a lot of progress thus contributing to the cultural value of the city. This church today has the bell tower, three naves and 5 lateral chapels belonging to the 18th century. This has been declared the national monument of Venezuela today.

Visit this place and add unforgettable moments into your travel kitty.

Caracas or the Santiago de Leon de Caracas is famous as the Venezuelan capital and is a great centre of administration, commerce, culture and finance. Situated around 15km from the Caribbean Sea, the land is separated from this sea by the El Avila National Park. With fantastic structures and great modern buildings, there are many heritage sites in Caracas. This concrete jungle with its beautiful parks and abounding natural reserves provides a great sight for any tourist.

Not many actually put Caracas on the top of their list of places to visit yet the city which is an amalgamation of the poor and the rich living alongside is still an attractive tourist spot. With warm, friendly people and great ethnic history Caracas is a place that no traveller should miss. While here you could go around seeing a lot of places.

Barbecued meat is a common dish in the region of the Llanos as there is a lot of cowboy culture still existent here. Then the ternera ilanera is a favourite here cooked on an open fire on a vertical split. Then you have the Amarillo which is a freshwater fish and is a common food here. There is a lot of Brazilian influence in the Amazon. With a tinge of Peruvian style too, the food here is predominantly livestock or beef and also the freshwater fish.

If at all you are in America, then do visit Colombia, and make it a point to visit some of the least visited spots there. This would not only give you a different travel quotient but would also ensure that you get to see something different.

So while you are on this endeavour to do something different, why don’t you visit this least visited zone of El Prado in Colombia? Mostly travellers who come here to Colombia go to the other more crowded areas of Bogota, Medellin etc. But El Prado is different. It is not a great tourist centre of Colombia, it is not frequented by many, but it has all the reasons for you to get interested as a traveller and would ensure that you come back feeling happy about your decision.

Come here to this land and see the Botanical Gardens here. This is a superb region filled with greenery, tranquility and peace. Located in the centre of the city, this place has a great lake built artificially which is a tourist’s delight for sure. Then there is a great place for all gourmands – The “Orquideorama” which is a great restaurant in El Prado.

Go to the Museo de Anitoquia and see the best of Great Botero’s paintings and other sculptures. The architectural wonder and the extravagant art forms here only go to enhance the total experience and any history lover would find it a masterpiece.

Then you have the Parque Lleras, where you can find the best scenic splendor and a collection of art forms and art related buildings. You have experimental theatres, besides of course the modern trend of having a disco, bars and also cafes. The restaurants here are very pleasant and comfortable. The discos of the district of Poblado are very popular and famous. The climate is pleasant and the ambience the right one for a vacation.

Visit the Estadio Atanasio Girardot which is another place to be added on the travel list. Then you have the Plaza de Botero which again is a great attraction. This is the centre of art in El Prado and showcases all the best arts of Botero. This lies in the middle of the central portion of El Prado.

Visit the Open Army Boys home and the Pueblo Santa Fe. At Pueblo Santa Fe enjoy the countryside surroundings and get lost in a land of greenery, tranquility and peace.
