Copacabana Beach

Copacabana Beach, one of the liveliest beaches worldwide, is located in center of Rio de Janeiro. The Fort is located at the Southern part of the beach and it came into existence in the year 1914. At that time it was used by the military and was a giant bunker. Leme Hill and fort

It is located in the Northern end of the beach and the hill is totally forest area. One of the most significant views on top of the hill is Leme Fort. Just like Copacabana Fort, this was also utilized by the military people for defensive purposes. To reach the hill top, you can walk along the Fort’s road. From the fort, you could also take breathtaking sights of entire city of Copacabana and even several parts of Rio.
