Nahanni National Park Reserve is an extremely interesting example for northern wilderness rivers, gorges, canyons and alpine tundra. The park comprises a total area of about 1840 square miles; and is situated on the center of the river valleys of Flat River and South Nahanni River that are situated in the southwestern part of the Northwest Territories. This park boasts of deep canyons and larger-than-life waterfalls. What sets this park apart from others is the unique limestone cave system that you’ll find here.
