Ambergris Caye Belize
As beautiful as the nearby Great Blue Hole, as tranquil as a hill station, and as appealing as a shining jewel – this is Ambergris Caye Belize that is the whooping archipelago with hundreds of islands making it the largest in north Belize. Despite being quite simple, it has its own unique charm to attract the visitors who have made this place interestingly the most visited site in this Mexican coastal city. The credit for this also goes to the lack of towering hotels as well as public transportation for making Ambergris Caye Belize the archipelago of coziness and peace, reasonable accommodations located compactly, friendly people, and lively streets of San Pedro. Undoubtedly, the Islands Magazine in 2008 registered this name in the list of world’s top 10 islands. Come here via a flight  [...]

It is located around 25 miles in the southern region of San Ignacio Cayo and Xunantunich, at a height of 460 m on top of the sea level, at the base of the hills of Maya Mounts. The location was the most significant political hub of Lowland Maya at some point in the Classic Era in Belize. The location was initially discovered by a local logger, Rosa Mai, who arrived at the remnants in the year 1937 whilst looking for mahogany hardwood plantations to use them. Mai afterwards reported about the location to the archaeological commission appointed for British Honduras, as the British settlement, in a while turning out to be an autonomous Belize, was recognized  [...]

‘Waterful’ Belize With My Girlfriend
“The murderer has left no evidence after brutally killing a female in central Belize City last night, 10.31 pm to be precise,” reported a news reader on the radio. The cab driver smiled. What’s so funny, I thought. “This happened when we were making love,” Catharine, my girlfriend, said, her anxiety louder than her voice. The driver smiled again, “Don’t fret lady, it’s quite common here. Try not listening to such news and I am sure you will love Belize. It’s beautiful.” We saw the ‘beautiful’ dilapidated edifices adjacent to numerous badlands that muddled the town. The oxidized cab didn’t stop bouncing as we passed through countless potholes on the road. “Indeed a beautiful place,” I said. Catharine gave me a firm look. It was my idea to spend a vacation here. We  [...]
